Keigo Shinzo's Moriyama-Chū Kyōshūjo (Moriyama-Chū Driving School) manga is getting a live-action film adaptation that will premiere in Japan in 2016.
Shinzo serialized the one-volume manga in Shogakukan'sMonthly Spirits magazine in 2009-2010 as his first serialized work. The manga centers on Kiyotaka Saitō —an apathetic college student who does things at his own pace — and Todoroki, a poker-faced cool yakuza member. Kiyotaka and Todoroki were classmates in high school, and both men attend an unofficial driving school one summer thanks to a certain incident.
